I Now Have Titles

It's 2am in the morning.

Why am I up?

I'm "improving" the online me. I just added a picture (Yataa!), and I added the title field to my blogs. I'm good at making titles, case in point, this one!

Also, I will have you know that I have A.D.D. so I apologize in advance if you find that I jump around in my blogs.

I wanted to comment about 2 more things. The reason this blog exists.

1. On a more selfish level, this blog will help me improve my writing skills. It is important as I am in the business of PR / Marketing / Communications. Being able to write and write well is important and I hope to refrain from using simple prose. It will help me refine my shoddy English which has deteriorated in the length of time that I have lived in China. It will help me improve my skills in Scrabble - I know what I'll do, I will ensure that I use and learn a new word each posting (and in turn you will learn too!), if not learn a new word, then use one that I don't normally use... what a stupendous idea (ok so I know what stupendous means, but I don't use it often).

2. On a more idealistic level, I hope that this blog will improve the world in some way, and by saying that, I hope it improves your world in some way also. Either through my optimistic ramblings, my insightful discoveries online that I will share, by providing you with voyeuristic opportunities of my life, reminding you of a word you may not often use in each posting, or at the very least taking your mind off your troubles if for a couple minutes while you read

I'm going to make a conscious effort to resurrect my blog.

After reading a recent article on building your online brand and improving your online brand, I've decided I need to resuscitate what once was littered with the audiences of footprints and eyeballs. It's especially annoying since I made a bet on Xanga back in 2001 when I thought I could pay $100 for lifetime membership. It seems that it would have worked, if Big Brother didn't begin banning a bunch of websites from China. With Xanga on the black list, my habitual blogging waned (all those wasted ramblings!). However, after reading those two articles, I'm invigorated once more, a second wind as you will.

Reading my posts from way back in 2001 is definitely refreshing though. I was once so innocent. A lot has changed, but I'm still a hopeless romantic when it comes to all things life. Optimistic.

As to what I will post about now? Why, my ramblings and senseless musings of course. Ho, ho, ho...
